"I am proud to be honorary chair for this year’s 2008 Oysters on the Lawn event. As a breast cancer survivor, I understand the importance of Carolina Breast Friend’s efforts to provide support and encouragement to women diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Project Pink House, CBF’s vision of a respite center for women dealing with Breast Cancer, is a very worthy mission that I would love to see fulfilled here in Charlotte. With your help, we can break ground on Project Pink House, and assist Carolina Breast Friends to accomplish their goals of continuing to help woman fight this deadly disease."
